Over a year in the making, The Art of Disney Princess is finally here. A collection of Interpretations of the Disney Princesses by artists from the Disney Consumer Products global creative team. It was a fun project to work on and exciting to see it slowly come together. Thanks especially to Soo Koo (VP Creative, DCP), Dorota Kotarba-Mendez (Snr Manager, Character Art DCP) and Jessie Ward (Editor, Disney Publishing) for their tireless devotion and creative leadership on this project.
Amazon has it for $26.40.
Some of the artists did a signing at D23 a couple weeks back and the signed prints are already on eBay.

And thanks to John Quinn for giving us his valuable input and a beautiful artwork!!!!
Hey John
I picked up Disney Princess's today and your work really stood out to me so I thought I'd find you on the web ^_^ Your stuff is really great, I'm still going through your blog - I love your line work, especially rhe black and white renderings! Are you still at Disney?
Thanks Dorota!
Hi Lel,
Thank you for this kind message! It means the world to me, you liked the work and would look me up. The thing I most enjoy about the blog is meeting artists from around the world. I just stopped by your webpage and am humbled by the extraordinary work you are doing at such a tender age ;-)
Wow!
Yes, I am still with Disney. I have been working in the consumer products division since 1996 (you were seven at the time? Yikes, I'm old!)

See you at class next week.

I do think it's true to say that on occasion you'll see a contemporary work sell at auction at a price below that which it sold for through a dealer gallery. (Or works simply going for less than what they are "worth"). That's the nature of the market. It is potentially harmful for the artist's primary market or reputation, and that's unfortunate. In the bigger scheme of things though, periods and types of work go in and out of fashion and prices vary correspondingly.
Really enjoyed your work in this book, few of the best in the entire book imo! And also fun to see an artists explore different styles and variations with the theme, instead of doing a series like the 6 Mucha pieces. Will be checking out your blog!
John,
I purchased the book for the library I work at and was so in love my husband bought me my own copy! I also looked you up as your work was some of my favorite in the book. Absolutely gorgeous linework, as I'm sure you know, and great caricaturization! You have amazing talent. Thanks for adding more wonderful art to the world!
Thank you very much Chantelle!
Your work is beautiful! I just recently bought the disney book and I was happy to find your entries on there :)! Gorgeous work!
