Some more Gaga

These are drawings from the first round of exploration in designing the Lady Gaga character for Electric Holiday.

You never know how it's going to go when you're trying to get a likeness of someone who has ultimate say over the design. I wanted to caricature without being to abstract or insulting and also, wanted to simplify the portrait to an animatable design. I have to say, Lady Gaga was a dream to work with. She is very creative and open to stylistic interpretation. Every round of drawings were met with enthusiastic input from she and her team and I always felt like we were moving forward.
